More About Me

Guqin

I studied the guqin, a traditional Chinese stringed instrument, for eight years starting at the age of 10 under Peifen Gao (高培芬), a nationally recognized inheritor of China's Intangible Cultural Heritage. The experience has shaped my aesthetic sensibility, helped me cultivate inner tranquility, and continues to influence my way of thinking.

Coffee & Tea

I like making and drinking coffee. I use the Breville Barista Touch espresso machine and prefer medium roast, single-origin beans. For tea, I enjoy raw Pu'er, rock tea, and white tea for their complexity and layered aftertaste, and I have a few old Pu'er cakes in my collection.

Cooking

I enjoy cooking and sharing food with others, and I am always looking to explore new recipes and techniques. There is something deeply satisfying about turning simple ingredients into a beautiful dish.

Film & Series

I enjoy films and TV series. Some of my favorite films include The Godfather, A Bright Moon, The Wave, Farewell My Concubine, Léon: The Professional, Ashes of Time, Memoirs of a Geisha, and The Bold, the Corrupt, and the Beautiful.

For TV series, I particularly enjoy Money Heist, Bloodhounds, Patrick Melrose, and Inventing Anna.
